Stackbot FAQs
Is this really less than a traditional palletizer?
Yes.
STACKBOT is designed to reduce the total cost of palletizing, not only the machine price, but also installation time, integration work, floor changes, and ongoing operational complexity.
Because it is plug-and-play and built as a ready-to-use machine, it can usually be installed much faster than a traditional palletizer, with less disruption to your production.
What about reliability and uptime?
STACKBOT is built with industrial components from established global manufacturers and is designed for continuous end-of-line operation.
The machine is simple by design: fewer complex integrations, fewer custom engineering dependencies, and an operator-friendly interface. This makes daily operation easier and helps reduce downtime caused by changeovers, adjustments, or lack of robotics expertise on site.
We don’t have automation/robotics expertise?
You don’t need to.
STACKBOT is designed for manufacturers who want robotic palletizing without needing an in-house robotics engineer. Operators can use the touchscreen interface to select products, pallet patterns, and recipes without programming the robot.
For installation, training, and support, BETELGEUS Robotics or an authorized partner will guide your team through the process.
Line changes are frequent, can it handle changeovers?
Yes.
STACKBOT is built for flexible production environments.
Product and pallet patterns can be created and selected from the operator screen, allowing your team to change between different products without robot programming. This makes it suitable for lines where carton sizes, pallet layouts, or production batches change regularly.
What if it doesn’t fit our line layout? / our layout is complicated I don’t think it would fit?
Very simple.
Talk to us or one of our partners about your set up and we can give you a quick view of whether StackBot is feasible.
STACKBOT is designed to fit into existing end-of-line layouts with minimal changes. Conveyor height, product infeed, pallet position, safety zones, and available floor space are all checked during the evaluation.
If the standard setup is not suitable, we can recommend an adapted layout or another automation approach.
Will it really handle our product types/weights?
In most cases, yes.
The right STACKBOT configuration depends on your box dimensions, weight, pallet pattern and required speed. Once we review your product data, we can confirm the suitable robot model, gripper type, cycle rate, and palletizing layout.
For special products, testing with real samples is the best way to validate performance.
Provide us or your local partner with your product details and we will be able to tell you straight away.

5900 x 1780 mm
Basic Inline (0°)
Straight-through flow. Manual packing → sealer → STACKBOT. Minimal footprint.

5600 x 2680 mm
Basic Angled (90°)
Corner flow. When line needs a turn or pallet position is offset from sealing.

5900 x 1780 mm
Inline + Labelling
Sealing, print & apply labeling, and palletizing in one straight flow.
