From 7 to 13 May 2026, BETELGEUS Robotics was at Interpack in Düsseldorf, the world’s largest trade fair for packaging and processing. This time we came with our own stand: Hall 11, Stand 67.
For seven days, visitors watched STACKBOT palletize live on the stand. A real cell picked boxes and built full pallet patterns, running non-stop. Many visitors stayed to set up a pallet layout themselves on the touchscreen. No programmer was needed, and the robot started stacking the new pattern within minutes.
The question we heard most was “How is it so fast?” The answer is in our own STACKBOT software. Mathematical models we developed in-house calculate the best path and the right acceleration ramps for every move. According to Doosan Robotics, this makes STACKBOT the fastest palletizer with a Doosan arm. Shorter, smoother movements also mean less wear on the robot’s motors and lower energy use per pallet.
Interpack also gave us the chance to meet existing partners and many new contacts from the food, beverage and consumer goods industries. We are now following up on the projects that started there.
