On 30 June and 1 July 2026, BETELGEUS Robotics showed STACKBOT at Warehouse & Yard 2026 at the NEC in Birmingham, together with our UK dealer I-Mark UK. The show brings together warehouse automation, materials handling, yard management and logistics.

It was our first show in the UK, and a different audience from a packaging fair. Visitors were warehouse managers, logistics operators and 3PLs, people who move pallets every day and know exactly what end-of-line work costs in time and labour.

What caught their attention was how quickly STACKBOT goes into operation. The cell is plug and play: unboxed and palletizing in under 60 minutes, with no fences to build and no programmer needed. A new pallet layout is set up on the touchscreen in minutes. With two pallet positions, STACKBOT keeps stacking on one side while a forklift takes away the full pallet on the other, so the line does not stop.

Behind the speed is our own STACKBOT software. Mathematical models developed in-house plan the shortest path and the right acceleration for every move. According to Doosan Robotics, this makes STACKBOT the fastest palletizer with a Doosan arm, while shorter movements mean less wear on the robot and lower energy use.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by in Birmingham, and to the I-Mark UK team for a great show. Together we are now following up with the UK companies we met.
